Osogbo, Osun State, July 22, 2024 — In a significant development, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a formal query to the Board of Trustees of the Osun State University Alumni Association following a complaint by former members.

The letter, dated July 12, 2024, was addressed to the Alumni Relations Office at Osun State University in Osogbo. The CAC’s correspondence reveals that a petition titled “Complaint by Former Members of the Osun State University Alumni Association” has been lodged, prompting an urgent response from the Board.

The CAC has requested that the Board of Trustees review the attached petition and respond within two weeks of receipt. The commission emphasized the necessity of compliance, warning that failure to respond may lead to enforcement actions to ensure adherence to regulations.

Signed by Obayemi Tajudeen Adewale on behalf of the Registrar-General, the letter also includes contact information for one Mr. David Oladeji and Ifeoluwa Adelokun, urging immediate action to address the audit report concerns.
